Beer

Beer is produced by fermenting sugars from cereals, primarily malted barley, with water and yeast. Hops are added, which act as a bittering agent, aroma enhancer, and natural preservative. It is divided into two broad categories: Lager (clean and crisp) and Ale (more complex). Other subclassifications include Stout, Pilsner, and Wheat Beer.
